Neelanjana Bharadwaj is an architect by profession and a passionate Yoga teacher with over 19 years of teaching experience. She has been a fitness enthusiast ever since she can remember and got into Yoga after being diagnosed with a serious auto immune disorder which affected several of her joints, almost 20 years ago. With the help of Homeopathy and Yoga she was able to come out of the illness and has never looked back since then.
She is trained in both Hatha and Vinayasa styles of Yoga, from SVYASA [a deemed university for yogic studies] and Atmayaan in Bangalore, India. She did her QCI Level 2 Yoga certification, certified by The Ministry of Ayush. Her sessions are a blend of the two styles and her focus is on using the breath to keep the flow and achieve a sense of quietness for an overall mind and body experience. She focuses on sharing the traditional yogic practices authentically.
She also teaches Yoga Philosophy and Hatha Yoga for all the 200hrs. YTTC, Yoga Alliance Certified Program, at Pure Yoga in Bahrain. She gives regular talks and holds workshops on relevant yogic topics. She was honored to be invited, as a speaker, for the first ever Arab Region Yoga Instructors Conference [ARYIC], in the Middle East, held at Dubai in 2019
Being a Yoga, breathwork and meditation teacher she has realized the immense benefits of incorporating the three along with the right type of nutrition to manage emotions for a balanced life. She believes that the secret to being happy comes from a blend of the food we intake, the thoughts we allow to grow and the way we breathe! ‘Everything is energy’ is her eternal belief and motto for life.
A practicing freelance architect and a dedicated Yoga teacher, she thrives on connecting with people and sharing her craft. Her contributary weekly column on Yoga, titled ‘The Yoga Buzz” in Bahrain This Week, is part of her endeavor for spreading her passion and love for Yoga. ‘The Yoga Handbook’ is her first published book on Yoga.
